The DIEEC home-based child care team is working hard to ensure that we are supporting our home-based child care providers with innovative strategies to support your professional development and opportunities for you to collaborate with your fellow providers! One strategy that we currently use and want to expand on are Professional Learning Experience (PLE) Cohorts. We want to provide additional opportunities for you to participate in PLE (training) cohorts.
Benefits to participating in a PLE cohort:
- Attending PLEs (trainings) with the same group of home-based child care providers
- Being able to select the PLEs (trainings) that you take
- Being able to decide with your group when and where the PLEs (trainings) are held
- Having the same PD Coordinator deliver your PLEs (trainings)
