On-Site Learning
DIEEC offers opportunities for program-wide Quality Assured (QA) professional learning for your entire staff, to take place directly at your program. Each Professional Learning Experience (PLE) includes a workshop session and a follow-up component designed to support implementation.
The following professional learning experiences (PLEs) are aligned with state-identified priority key practices and are available to be delivered on site:
PCHQ-KP1: Incorporates a whole-child approach, intentionally supporting children through positive interactions

- Addressing Challenging Behavior: The Pyramid Model
- Play for Development and Learning
- Positive Behavior: Building on Children’s Strengths
- Using Responsive Care Techniques to Foster Social-Emotional Development
PCHQ-KP2: Uses culturally responsive and identity-affirming practices to build meaningful connections and foster a sense of community in the classroom
- Addressing Challenging Behavior: The Pyramid Model
- Positive Behavior: Building on Children’s Strengths
PCHQ-KP5: Implements inclusive practices and provides environments that are responsive to the developmental needs of all children enrolled in the program
- Understanding Children’s Behavior as Communication
On-site requests require a minimum of 10 participants and must be submitted at least 60 days in advance. Please note that DIEEC has limited availability for on-site PLEs each year. Further details are outlined on the On-Site Training Request Form. Once your request is submitted, we will contact you to discuss DIEEC’s availability.
