Zero to Three Critical Competencies for Infant-Toddler Educators
The Zero to Three Critical Competencies for Infant-Toddler Educators support educators in building teacher-child interaction skills that promote optimal infant and toddler development in the social-emotional, cognitive, and language and literacy areas.
In the coming year, DIEEC will be leading cohorts focused on supporting infant-toddler educators in each of the three areas listed above:
- 2 cohorts focused on skill sets that promote social-emotional learning and development. Cohorts will take place over 5 months.
- 2 cohorts focused on skill sets that promote cognitive learning and development. Cohorts will take place over 3 months.
- 2 cohorts focused on skill sets that promote language and literacy learning and development. Cohorts will take place over 3 months.
The Zero to Three initiative includes workshop sessions, classroom observations, and follow-up coaching.
