The Pyramid Model
The Pyramid Model is a framework of evidence-based approaches for promoting young children’s healthy social and emotional development, leading to better social skills and fewer problem behaviors. Educators will learn to support this development through nurturing relationships, supportive environments, and teaching strategies.
DIEEC will be leading 6 Pyramid Model cohorts this year, supporting family child care and center-based classroom educators of children aged 2-5, along with targeted supports for program leaders in the center-based programs. Each cohort takes place over 8 months.
