As the Office of Early Learning has shared, the next step in the revision of the Quality Improvement System (QIS) is ready for feedback. We know that you are invested and engaged in this work, and the state leadership team wants to hear from you.

Takeisha Edmonds, Office of Early Learning Education Associate, shared the proposed Quality Indicators and Key Practices at the recent DECC sub-committee meeting on February 8th, collecting feedback from providers in attendance. For providers who were not able to attend the DECC sub-committee meeting, DIEEC will be hosting three additional feedback opportunities to review and discuss these proposed Quality Indicators and Key Practices. Please note, these sessions will be reviewing the same information that was discussed at the DECC sub-committee meeting.

We will also be joining family child care educators at their upcoming meetings of the Wilmington network, the New Castle County network, the Sussex network, and the Region 1 group. Family child care educators who will be attending one of these already scheduled meetings do not need to register for one of these additional sessions.
